"We booked this hotel as it was the cheapest option over the Braderie weekend. Obviously prices were excessively inflated in all Lille hotels for the weekend, so this seemed much more reasonable value. We also booked a room with sharing communal toilet and bathroom - which I have to say, I was incredibly nervous about. The reality was the hotel was absolutely fine. Sharing facilities is a slightly strange experience, but was manageable for a weekend! The hotel was a 25 minute walk from the centre...

"We had a good stay before catching Le Shuttle. It’s very much budget end, but fine for a one night stay. Everything worked, although the plastic toilet flush operating button was cracked and ready to disintegrate. The shower was fine and had a good amount of hot water pressure. The bed was rather hard for my liking, but that seems quite common in France. The sheets and towels were clean and in good condition. "Check-in was easy but nobody there before 5 pm so no point being early. Security was good checking staff very helpful and friendly. Place needs a good clean though and does smell of damp. Continental breakfast what you would expect for the price. "

"What the pictures don’t show is that, the toilet is so tiny that I couldn’t stretch out my 2 hands while inside the toilet ( and by toilet I mean the wc, the washing basin and the shower room combined ). And this tiny toilet doent even have an extraction fan inside of it so Goodluck with any smell that could get into the room. "all good , couple of notes from myself to make experience exceptional, 1 ) the person who make the booking should be allocated to the best room in house. mine was off the street , there were no disturb but i can see a problem comoing from there 2) there was drainage odour which was unpleasant "

"Adresse fonctionnelle 100% autonome C’est peu ´chaleureux, mais surtout l’impossibilité de verrouiller la porte avec une clef, lorsque je m’absente ne me rassure pas sur la sécurité des biens laissés à l’intérieur. Pour le reste, un sans faute - Qualité literie ok - Propreté ok - Wifi ok - vue sur ville de la chambre St Jean très sympa / sans vis à vis 👍 - Ameublement, équipement, style convaincants Important de mentionner l’absence d’ascenseur et l’escalier un peu étroit avec bagages.
