"Right from check in [it was earlier than stated], the staff couldn't be more helpful. The receptionist escorted us to our room and made everything was OK before she left. We only booked bed and breakfast but the dining staff were quickly on hand to help out and especially for those that have mobility problems taking food to the tables for them. The only gripe I would have at breakfast is the hot food wasn't hot and only warm. The cleaning staff were busy all day making sure the hotel was clean...

"This apartment hotel is conveniently located near King Avenue Mall. While the hotel has a bit of an older charm, it is well-maintained and clean. The breakfast was good and sufficient, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. They even upgraded us to a two-bedroom apartment and suggested an earlier breakfast to accommodate our flight schedule. Overall, it offers great value for money! "

"We had a quick family trip (2 adults 3 kids) up to the mountains and decided to stay at forest park despite some mixed reviews. For us, it was a great trip! I suggest embracing this hotel for what it is: an ageing giant with really dedicating staff and clean rooms. We were in adjoining rooms 716 and 717. Our rooms were warm, clean and comfy. Dated a bit? "The hotel is in a great location in a rocky bay which you can swim in. The hotel itself is pleasant, although the style of the room we had was somewhat dated, although clean and well serviced everyday. We had complained about the location of our room and were offered an alternative which we declined as we didn’t feel it was better……but the offer was appreciated. The staff were, almost without exception, very pleasant and helpful, in every area of the resort….."
