"Host was great, but hotel is hard to find due to the fact that it is actually called Pensìon San Thelma not San Juan. San Juan is the street. Beds were pretty uncomfortable and the noise was really bad due to the bar next door. Luckily I had earplugs. On the plus side the location in old town is hard to beat. "The hostel is new and very nicely designed in a good area, 1 block from Zurriola surf beach and under 10 min walk to the old town. Bare essentials kitchen and good wifi everywhere. There is a bar/cafe downstairs and the actual dorms are right next door in a residential apartment so you need to be peaceful in there. The owners David and Haritz are two of the nicest, hospitable guys you'll ever meet who will make your stay a memorable one. Also try the salmon toastie!"
