"If your idea of a good hotel is glass and stainless steel this one isn’t for you. It is a small hotel on the fifth floor (served by a lift) a few blocks (15 minutes walk) from Termini in an early 20th century building. The hotel is clean and our rooms were well appointed. We had two rooms. My son and daughter stayed in a fairly conventional double whereas that of myself and my wife was one where two rooms had been knocked through to create a triple. "Room is soundproofed, didn't hear any sound from the street, next door nor the corridor. Room is clean, pleasant design, love the bricked roof. Mary at the front desk is exceptionally accommodating. Nice cafe for breakfast, good pizzeria, and restaurant, all on the same street as the hotel within 2 mins walk. Metro, Termini, and attractions are 10-20 min walk away."

"We got the quadruple room at the hotel. Room was right next to the street and there was traffic noise throughout the night. It was like sleeping on the street. For A/c you have to pay extra. For towel change pay extra. Free Wi-Fi wasn't working and the staff said there was no plan to fix it. Overall, one of the worst hotel experiences. There was virtually no space in the shower to hang the towel. it was so small. Same with the washroom. I don't think a large person would be able to turn around....

"Good: location. Bad: could be really noisy at time as this is located at some youth hostels area. No basic amenities available. Shared bathroom was a nightmare. Asked 2 different staffs for additional fan as the one in the room not working but not entertained. No elevator, not recommended if you're travelling with big luggages."
