"This is a lovely hotel and my room was so cute, however I have a sensitivity to scents and this hotel has quite a variety of scented accessories. From the moment you step into the lobby the smell of whatever they are using is quite strong, incense perhaps. My room was in the basement level and besides it having a bit of a damp smell I was literally overcome with the power of the scented candles in my room, it was so bad I had to ask the desk clerk if she could remove which she graciously did,...

"The hotel is a small family run affair. Lovely hosts. Very friendly and helpful. We booked a double room and they offered us a choice of rooms: the double or a choice of 3 apartments they have. We chose a first floor apartment which obviously had more facilities than the double room and it was lovely. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful 4 night stay. Would recommend for an inexpensive break. "

"Best thing about this hotel - first drop off and last pick up for the airport transfers. 3 min walk to the beach. Brilliant for couples as old town is on the doorstep. 25/35 min walk to the square which is easy enough to find. Clean hotel room. Wasn't expecting much as its quite small and 'local' but really powerful shower and lovely staff who served us solaros at 1am each night. Would definitely go back."

"We stayed for just one night. It’s one of the few places where you can check-in up to midnight, so it’s convenient if you will arrive late in Alicante like we did. The place is dated, but is very central. The room was clean and organized, but don’t expect a lot. The walls aren’t soundproof, so you can hear pretty much everything. It’s just really a place to rest and sleep after exploring the city. The big plus was the receptionist. He speaks English, he’s very accommodating and would gladly help...

"I was in the middle of central Alicante, mext to bars and restaurants. Really close to bus stop and main road. It was a bit nozy,nightclub hanging till 3am. Bathroom very basic,not very clean and tacky, Diy ed lots of places. No electric plug in the room, forced to charge electronics in the bathroom..Not 1 English channel!!! Hotel doing renovations lots of banging, lift alwas busy with workmen. Receptionist nice but not very friendly, just there doing his thing!!"
