"Check in nightmare. Bottom of stairs outside very very busy pub toilets on way to restaurant! Took ages lots of moving bags. Breakfast ok.... apart from they bring your hot food.... THEN ask if you want toast. Then go and make it. So if you wait everything is cold."

"Excellent location. The staff in the pub were friendly and delightful. The room was clean. The double bed in room 7 needs a new mattress and a wood slate is underneath the bed and should be fixed. But overall a very pleasant stay for the one night."

"Hotel was wonderful. Unique. Our bathroom was on a second floor from the bedroom. We had to climb a narrow spiral staircase to get to it. Once u got used to the stairs it wasnt a big deal in the middle of the night. Would definetely stay there again. "

There was no room cleaning for the 3 nights we stayed there - toilet rolls and drink replenishment had to be asked for downstairs. Cups were cardboard ‘to-go’ variety and there was no hairdryer. TV reception was ‘dodgy’. We spent most of our time out and about so didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as...

"I would recommend a stay here for the fabulous central location. The room was clean and check in instructions were very clear. Please be aware there was no reception as such, but if needed you can leave your luggage at the bar next door, and there were emergency contacts listed. We didn't need any of this but good to know. There were a couple of bottles of water in the room and some discount vouchers, all of which were an unexpected bonus. The kitchenette was handy if you wanted to make a drink...
