"The Old City Hotel is a wonderful stay"

"This is the first time at this Pensión and we received a lovely welcome from the owners. The place is in the very heart of the old town which is perfect. Even an Asian pintox right outside the door. The room was great as we had the private bathroom which is fabulous for Three of us to have our own space. Probably better for a couple and not a 10 year old sleeping in the bed but we managed. Nice place to hit the town for pintxos and a drink of Txakoli. One last thing if you’ve ever seen Bar...

"Todo muy limpio y bien conservado, solo hizo falta un aviso más visible -o especificarlo en el mensaje de bienvenida- donde se indicará que la entrada de la pensión está en el primer nivel. Una lavandería en el lugar sería ideal. Por lo demás, estuvimos encantados. "

"Great location, but this was not a great “hotel”. This is an enclosed hostel. The beds were stiff and old. The place lacked soap or shampoo. The towels they give you are cheap and never dry after one use. Mold in the showers. I cannot believe I paid $312 dollars for this place. Really uncomfortable stay. "

"Host was great, but hotel is hard to find due to the fact that it is actually called Pensìon San Thelma not San Juan. San Juan is the street. Beds were pretty uncomfortable and the noise was really bad due to the bar next door. Luckily I had earplugs. On the plus side the location in old town is hard to beat. Bu it is noisy everywhere there late into the night. If you need quiet stay in the newer part of town. "

"First, the accommodation is exceptionally clean, both the bedroom and shared bathrooms. Much appreciated! The location is perfect for easy, walkable access to all the historic sites, restaurants and shopping. This Pensión is definitely recommended as part of a positive visit to San Sebastián!"

"The hostel is new and very nicely designed in a good area, 1 block from Zurriola surf beach and under 10 min walk to the old town. Bare essentials kitchen and good wifi everywhere. There is a bar/cafe downstairs and the actual dorms are right next door in a residential apartment so you need to be peaceful in there. The owners David and Haritz are two of the nicest, hospitable guys you'll ever meet who will make your stay a memorable one. Also try the salmon toastie!"

"We loved our stay at Pension Ab Domini. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the space was clean and ample and the location could not have been any more perfect. If we’re able to visit San Sebastian again, we will only look to stay here again. "
