"Definitely a top hotel. Few comments. To give extra information for future guests about small downsides. No hot drinks at lunch and dinner. (It is possible in the various bars), breakfast we found open late 07h30. And yet quite a bit of construction debris (concrete blocks) on the beach and sunbed)"

"Beautiful report. Stunning backdrop with mountain in background as you’re by the pool or beach. Everything was almost perfect. The almost is the service.. although it’s done with a smile and very warm.. it was a bit slow. We sometimes had to repeat orders. So 9/10. Would definitely visit again. "

"Property in perfect conditions, excellent facilities and super friendly and efficient staff. I was there during a typhoon level 3 alert. The airport was closed and a lot of clients got struck. The front desk, concierge and guest relations were simply amazing! The management did huge efforts to minimize clients’ discomfort. Amazing! "

"We loved every second of our stay here. We were upgraded to a beachfront frangipani room which was great. 4 different restaurants - all with fantastic food (Saffran was probably our fave). We had no issue getting reservations. The all included watersports (inc motorised) were amazing. The staff were all fabulous- they couldn’t do enough to help you. We’re already planning our return trip. "

"Excellent! Just left the ravenala following 5 night stay. We had no compliants at all. We stayed in the adult zone where you get your own bean bag loungers on the beach. The room was very clean, housekeeping are incredible. Each day the room was spotless and care taken with items in the room. Huge thanks to the staff at the boat house - well equipped, highly knowledgeable and happy to go out and teach. Their english is very good too. The added options of glassbottom tour was excellent. "A little disorganised at check in. Reception staff insisted I present them with a voucher before they would give us access to the room. I had no voucher (is this the 1990s???) and would not accept that a booking in my name would in fact be my reservation!! Not ideal after a 12 hour flight from London. 90 minutes completely wasted and frustrating to say the least. However, that was the only issue with the hotel. Room was huge, food excellent, selection of drinks was excellent and all staff super...

"The hotel is in a great location on the beach. The food is pretty good. Our room (one of the cheapest options) was a bit scruffy and not the best design (smelt a bit musty, hardly any leg room if you sit on the toilet!) but overall fine. Lots of food options nearby. Entertainment could be loud in the evening. Pool & beach areas are nice. "

"Great villa and staff. The beach is fantastic and a good choice of restaurants. Nothing is cheap in Mauritius but similar to other Indian Ocean or top Caribbean resorts."
