"Small pension in a very good location. Each room decorated with different artists team, nice! Very helpful staff. The only minus was a steep staircase to the entrance."

"I cannot stress how much we absolutely loved this hotel. We had a small but comfortable room with a shared bathroom (there were 2 in the hall) and while I initially was anxious about that, not once did we ever feel like it was shared. The staff keeps the hotel and bathrooms INCREDIBLY clean; you don’t even get the feeling that there are others staying there. The location is also incredible - everything is within 15 mins walking. We will certainly be back!"

After a long walk up several flights of rundown stairs, we were made to wait outside the hotel enterance until the owner turned up half an hour later. Once inside the check in process took a further 15 minutes where we were told we needed to make a cash payment for the room which we had already paid for by card. "A little confusing at first to find the actual hotel in the building. You can't find a better location if you want to walk around Florence. Cab took me right to the door from the airport. I am an older female and was travelling on my own, but never felt unsafe."
