We got a space at the rear of the building for parking and the room was very clean and tidy. Looked very modern and homely. We were based in the Carlton building across the road under the same hotel. Would stay again "

"Desk service was awesome. The room and areas were generally clean. Although the room was smaller than I expected, the overall experience was pretty good. The hotel was within walking distance of various entertainment areas. The area was safe and hotel has a nice cozy vibe with decent flashes of being contemporary. "Ive stayed at Melia hotels in Liverpool and Newcastle and both are really nice. I had Ceasar Salad as room service and it was excellent. Nice to get comp drinks in the fridge as well. This time however the room was dirty. There was a lot of dust in the wadrobe area, and my white socks were black after walking around the room for an evening. There was also a damp smell coming from the bathroom which joins onto the main room. The rooms are nice thogh, and a large dest to work from, the bed...

"Lovely hotel - staff were so friendly and helpful and always greeted me with a smile. The room was very comfortable and we had a great view of the river. Couple of minor niggles, the room service tray wasn’t collected for quite a while and I did have to ask for it to be removed. The heating is way too high and I couldn’t adjust it.
