"A genuine old Dutch rowhouse with a few rooms (with baths) up a flight of very steep stairs. Very quaint and comfortable. Convenient to the Anne Frank House, great restaurants and shopping, and a block from the tram that goes to the museum plaza and the central train station, if you don’t feel like walking. Some outside noise if you’re in the front room. Someone will carry your luggage up and down the steep staircase for you, but don’t reserve if you have difficulty walking or climbing. "

Wir hatten allerdings eine Kochgelegenheit erwartet, da in der Beschreibung von einer Kochnische die Rede ist. Es gibt aber reichlich Restaurants im nahe gelegenen Ort und Umgebung. Ansonsten ist alles vorhanden um einen Kurzurlaub zu genießen."

"My adult daughter and I recently spent 5 nights at this property. It was a lovely spot, very clean, bright, and private. It was a 20 minute walk to the train station, or a 7 minute walk to catch the bus/train. Download the "City Mapper" app to help you navigate getting around. There is a grocery store near by, and the apartment has a refrigerator, stove top, and microwave to conveniently make meals/snacks if you wish. The breakfast for 7.50 Euros/pp/per day was absolutely amazing! So much...

"Very comfortable, shared kitchen area with another room. Private bath. Steep stairs up to the 2 rooms. There is one double and one with 2 twin beds. Very convenient, easy walk to museums - flat, but is at least a mile. "

"Staying at the Milkhouse was like having your own residence in the middle of Amsterdam. You opened your door and you were looking at one of the canals. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Our hosts, Eline and Erik were remarkable. They could not have been nicer nor more hospitable. If anyone asked I would recommend the Milkhouse without any reservation and the next time we are in Amsterdam I will definitely want to stay at the Milkhouse again."
