Everything we needed was there not to mention the surprize champaign that kept appearing the outdoor wine cooler by the pool. The house is close enough to small town Zminj that has all the basics including large grocers and butcheries. Also some really good restaurants and Ivan the host is happy to make recommendations. "Really beautifully renovated building. Modern kitchen/ bathrooms but nice thick stone walls too! Hosts were friendly, generous and always responded quickly to any questions. Centrally located so most sites we wanted to see were 30-45 min drive away from the house. Swings in the backyard were great for our kids!"

"We were very impressed when we arrived at 2.15am in the morning, after a long drive from Venice, to find our host waiting for us. We were very pleased with the villa, pool and large garden. "We had a lovely holiday in Croatia. The villa is central to all the main towns (about a 30 minute drive. We loved visiting Rovinj which is beautiful and Pula with its amazing amphitheatre. Villa is well equipped and beautiful. The air conditioning throughout was appreciated as it was very hot outside. The WiFi is patchy but you can get it if you sit in the pool area."

The beds were big and comfortable too. The villa is in a great area to explore this part of Croatia, but a car is essential.
