"Property isn’t pet friendly, it’s dog friendly. We use Expedia for all our bookings but told by hotel the policy is more restrictive than Expedia indicates. Best Western shouldn’t accept reservations from Expedia that don’t conform to your actual policy. The manager was kind enough to work it out for us but it would be better for all to put the burden on the business offering service, not the consumer trying to make the best choice for their needs. "

"We had a great stay. Pool was great, room was good, the pull out couch was a little uncomfortable, but when aren't they. The game room needed updating as one arcade machine was broken. Kitchen was great in the room, and the whole hotel had a good vibe to it!"

"Life House Berkshires looks great, but no one actually works there. Or at least that's how it seemed during our stay. I never got the welcome text they said I would get to be able to communicate with staff. I called the 800 number once to try to get someone and couldn't get a person. I finally did get a person the next time I tried that number and that was to tell them that when we came back for the day after housekeeping had been there, our sink was clogged with muddy water. Not sure if it was...

"This motel is very basic and the condition was okay but somewhat shabby. The building looked a little worn down. It met our needs overall but wasn’t particularly memorable. The property could benefit from a deep clean, some general maintenance handiwork and a fresh coat of paint. "

Everything you need in Stephentown

"This unit in the Stephentown is truly a gem. The space is beautiful, beds were comfy and they provide all the amenities you could need!….even extra toothpaste, toothbrushes, makeup remover, etc. The host reached out immediately after booking with tons of info about local restaurants and attractions - all of which were excellent. The property is less than 10 mins from Jiminy Peak as well as plenty of great restaurants and shops. My only heads up is that the stairs are somewhat narrow (it’s an old bldg so that’s not a big surprise). But be aware of it. Even still, it deserves 5 stars. "

Amazing Stay!!!!

"Our stay at the Spencer House was absolutely perfect! The house was spotless, with every detail thoughtfully attended to. There was an abundance of towels and toiletries, making our stay feel effortlessly luxurious. Each bedroom was incredibly spacious and had its own en suite bathroom, providing comfort and privacy for everyone in our group.The host was amazing—so accommodating and responsive. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, from a great selection of board games to seasonal decorations that made the house feel festive and welcoming. The location was also fantastic! It’s just a short drive to both Jiminy Peak and Great Barrington, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. We also loved having Mario's restaurant right next door. The food was phenomenal—on par with a top NYC dining experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend the Spencer House!"

Perfect for Pups

"Our stay exceeded our expectations! The property is beautiful with a cute patio and modern furnishings/appliances. It had a homey and clean vibe and Dillon was nice enough to provide snacks, oatmeal, coffee, creamer, toothbrushes, etc. Everything we could need! We brought our two dogs and they seemed right at home and love going on walks through the fall leaves. Would definitely recommend for those with dogs, small children, or just traveling on their own!"

Woodland 5-BR Retreat 5-Min to Jiminy Peak

Great house and super clean

"This was a great house for six adults to spend most of a week at. It was certainly the cleanest VRBO I've ever rented -- the dishes, silverware and everything in the kitchen was ready to go at check in. Bathrooms and bedrooms were also ultra clean. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates and pots/pans. The rooms were bright both day and night. The large island kitchen was ideal for hanging out at and chatting with friends and family. There is a large yard off to the side of the house, with a pool and fire pit. Also has a nice, heavy duty gas grill. Owners responded quickly to questions. I highly recommend this rental."
