"The home is spacious and well appointed. The pool was set to warm at our request, and it was a real treat to lounge around in, even on cold winter mornings and evenings. There’s a nice dining table outside next to the pool, a pit BBQ surrounded by the pool, lounge chairs and umbrellas, and a little fire pit on the side lawn. The master bedroom and bath are fantastic, the other rooms I’d rate as just average. We ran into many little problems which did distract from the overall luxury feel. For instance: the microwave had to be held closed by hand in order to turn on, the dishwasher has these odd arms that stick out into the upper tray and get in the way, there isn’t a full set of measuring cups or spoons which was a real hassle as we made Christmas dinner, the tv remote is nearly incomprehensibly complicated, the bumpers on the pool table are falling off in two sections which messes up any ball that hits in that area, and the trash basket in the kitchen is on a sliding device that is falling apart. None of these things was bad enough to drop my star rating, but when you’re paying over a thousand dollars a day, they shouldn’t be there. Communication with the owner was very good. He went out of his way to provide a high chair for our granddaughter, and answered all my questions quickly.The location is in the suburbs, so there’s a 20-30 minute drive to get to just about anywhere. The house is located in a very nice neighborhood. Overall, we enjoyed the house very much. "
