"Really nice apartment interior, and right next to the river. Quiet and cosy, a nice touch would be some blankets for when you’re on the couch and some complimentary beverages in the fridge. All in all, friendly and helpful reception staff. Decent menu and good choice of food, Would stay again "

"We had a great stay at the Amsterdam Bob W. Communication throughout our stay was excellent, using the great WhatsApp messaging service. We requested refills of the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and the housekeeping was excellent in getting them to us. The only constructive feedback I would give is that the mattress is very firm. The studio is perfectly equipped and minimalistic. "

"Loved the property — clean and quiet in that area. Bus to central station was nearby. Design of toilet floor could be better though. It was flooding as the water wasn’t directed to the drain and it flowed out of the toilet into the common area but nothing a towel can’t stop. Property was really pretty! Would stay again "

"We really enjoyed our stay in Amsterdam. The apartment was located very conveniently for museums and galleries, as well as the proximity to the tram and restaurants. The neighbourhood is also a lovely place to wander about and felt safe during the evening (though, you take your life in your hands crossing the cycle lane). The owners are clearly still working on the property as there was a lot of banging and hammering at 7am which may not be ideal if you've had a late night or like to sleep in....

"Good size rooms and view of the water was good. Rooms had their linen changed but the living room and kitchen was pretty dirty still.. bathroom and toilet were good.. if you have a lot of luggage, suggest ask for a ground floor apartment as the lift was not working and the stairs were tight and steep.. Instructions were not timely and when received did not include how to access the external door to reach the safe where the physical key was located, so had to use international plan to call the property contact. Location of property was good. Bus to free ferry to and from Amsterdam Centraal ran every 30 mins. The ferry was every 4 mins and took very little time to cross. "Fantastic stay would stay again. The only improvement would be cleanliness as the microwave was dirty and no sheets were provided for the sofa bed. However they do have an essential cupboard which you can help yourself to stuff that is needed. "

"Parking is absolutely horrendous in Amsterdam. As a first time visitor - this cannot be expressed highly enough. Do not rent a car unless absolutely necessary. If you must rent a car - have a parking plan in place before you arrive. "

"This was close to tram stop. Lots of restaurants nearby. We ate at a really good Indonesian restaurant. Close to beautiful park. Have to go to hotel de hallem to check in. Silverware drawer hidden under stove. Comfy bed! Great TV options."

Excellent experience.

"Super hotel. Clean friendly helpful. I had excellent help from the front desk, Leo and Bram at the bar, excellent and knowledgable Maintenance guy, Michael, who fixed the safe and my luggage, and the room service lady. This hotel is a gem. Very comfortable too. Don’t expect USA size rooms of course, but my 2 stays now were perfectly adequate and comfy. There is very nice seating in the 3 lounge areas and further towards the bar area. You can meet the cars too! Complimentary sweets, cakes, coffees all go towards the care and detail given to make a stay memorable. Looking forward to a 3rd opportunity to visit Amsterdam and stay here again. "

"My husband and I stayed at Hotel Casa for a week in Amsterdam. We were a little hesitant because it is outside the city centre. However, we are very happy we made the decision to stay here. It is a quiet area that provided a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Central station is less than a 10 minute ride from Amstel Station, which is right next to the hotel. Day trips were also cheaper from Amstel Station. The hotel was clean and quiet, with rooms bigger than normal for Europe. Staff were fabulous. They were kind and helpful and really made us feel welcome and at home. Bed was comfortable, shower was clean and had sufficient hot water. We would definitely stay here again. "

Just brilliant

"David & Jasmin were especially helpful at check in. I stayed twice in one week with a break in the middle and had to manage a booking for a friend also. The front desk atmosphere and general style of communication is excellent at this Hoxton. Fantastic location, design & atmosphere great breakfast. Will be back there for sure. Only positive things to say overall "
