"The property was very big and clean with everything you could need. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of pans etc. and the beds were comfy. The pool area was amazing and the pool was very clean despite it not being covered, although it was a bit chilly! The gardens were lovely and well maintained, as the whole property was. More sun loungers would have been good for the size of the property. The basement was a great space for snooker, table football etc but the bedroom wasn't ideal...

"This is a 300-year-old farmhouse that has been converted on a very quiet spot in a middle class, safe and retirement looking (?) neighborhood. There was a bedroom and bath upstairs and a bedroom and bath plus another half bath downstairs with a kitchen that was compact but had everything you needed and a lovely outdoor space. "This is a nice calm place to escape to reconnect with nature and a slower pace of living. There are lots of nature trails to hike. Aveiro and Porto are an hour away, but you have some very unique tourism opportunities about 10 minutes away in S. João da Madeira with their industry tourism and hat and shoe museum!"

"We stayed for 3 nights. Beautiful old house, view of water below was so lovely. Enjoyed the pool but it was a little late in the year so it was just a little cold for us at our age. We still did get into it twice. Kitchen had all the pots and utensils we needed. We would love to stay here again when in Portugal."
