"We were a large family group renting the property for a week for a reunion. Beautiful, high-design property - tip top shape. Everyone enjoyed the pool, sauna and playground. Adults stayed in the main house and teenagers/young adults in the pool house. Lots of different spaces to gather and also escape for some quiet time. Some wonderful restaurants nearby."

"It's possible that I should have read the description more closely, but I was expected a private villa, perhaps behind the host's home? That's not the case. You are staying in a semi-private part of someone's home with them. It is a beautiful home, and the owners were very nice. Still, I was thrown at first after an exhausting day of travel - so just be aware. It was nice to have bikes available to us, but know none are kid-sized and they're not in the best of shape. Still, it was fun to ride...

Shops and eateries at the other end.Short ten minute max walk to the beach, 15-20 minute walk to the Kursaal and other more central areas.Buses fairly close with simple contactless payment."

"The property was beautiful and full of character. Location was brilliant, very close to the beach and in the heart of the de Haan conservation area with lots of other traditional buildings "
