"I felt compelled to write a review, because the host, Irma, was so exceptional. She knew that we were coming in without a car, being dropped off by Taxi, very late in the evening, and it will be difficult for us to get any food that evening and for breakfast the next morning. So she happily offered to go to the grocery store and buy some food for us and put it in the fridge. Wow. Also, each day we would get fresh eggs from her farm, and fresh baby tomatoes. So delicious. "Bare bones, but the room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was bottled water in the room and a hot shower (which in Costa Rica is not always a given). I was pleased, too, that they did come pick me up at the airport even though my plane arrived after stated shuttle hours. "
