"Relaxing, peaceful and attractive hotel. Loved the atrium, garden and dining areas. Beds and linen are very comfortable. Also found the stream off our patio very relaxing. Only negative is that you can hear people in hallway and through the bathroom vent."

"Really lovely hotel! The room was spacious, the property was beautiful and green, very close to the river. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was fantastic. We stayed there for 3 nights and really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. The restaurant staff was very helpful and gracious. Shout out to Summer from the restaurant who was very kind and friendly and provided excellent service and menu suggestions!"

"The staff were very helpful and charming in offering us guidance - how to save on taxis. We were within walking distance of Arenal Waterfall but to get to La Fortuna we needed transportation. The rain was heavier than we expected this time of year- early December. We missed having television in our rooms, but there was a serenity to the location."

"This is a beautiful riverside lodge which allows its residents to listen to the sound of the rushing river while seeing many species of birds and other animals on the grounds. There were many bird watchers in the dining hall and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The did a river safari tour which helped us to see even more caiman, iguanas, howler monkeys and toucans."

"Hotel Lomas Del Volcan is wonderful in every way. The grounds and views are breathtaking. There are beautiful flowers everywhere you look, and the Arenal Volcano is a stunning backdrop. We even saw a sloth and monkeys while enjoying the delicious complimentary buffet breakfast! I also cannot say enough about how truly friendly and welcoming all of the hotel staff are. The hotel is very accessible to restaurants, hot springs, and the La Fortuna Waterfall. We have absolutely loved our stay here and highly recommend for anyone visiting La Fortuna!"
