A few things can be improved given the price. - Breakfast is very bland and could use improvement—fresher breads (ideally baked daily), ripe fruit (two days I was there, the fruit served wasn't ripe), better training of the chef who makes omelets; they were often overcooked; have an option for adding cheese to the omelets which wasn't available. "We booked the Zanzibar Hotel in February 2019 for a stay in August. The week before we travelled we contacted the hotel to request an airport transfer, which their website said they offered. They replied to our Expedia message by saying that the hotel was undergoing refurbishment but we would be staying in a 'sister' hotel called the Tausi Palace and a driver would pick us up from teh airport and take us there. The hospitality of the staff in all areas, the open lay out of the property and proximity of dining to the ocean, the clean and beautiful rooms, and the quality and variety of food options at the breakfast buffet.
