"I have stayed several times over the years and I love this place. Given it's rural location it's a diamond in the rough. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are probably the best "hotel free-breakfasts" I've come across in all my travels over the last 10 years. The only downside is the trucks that use engine breaking to slow down as they come into town. I do like the proximity to the Family Dollar Store next to the hotel."

"The views from this place are AMAZING! Rick has old vehicles nearby that enhance the ambiance - cars from the 50's that hearken to a bygone era. The camper is well-equipped with everything you would need for a very quiet stay away from it all! Rick lets you know if he is ever around, though he NEVER bothers you. If you have questions, he's knowledgeable. We stayed there for over 2 weeks, and felt safe, rested, and relaxed throughout the stay."
