"Our stay at the Spa Hotel was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only issues were with some unusual policies at the hotel and I’m not sure they are exclusive to the hotel or standard in Sweden. 1st, the standard room has no tea and coffee making facilities, you need to upgrade to get a kettle (they will provide tea and coffee at reception but no cups or kettle in the room). 2nd, you cannot buy a drink at the bar and take it too your room. "Absolutely loved our stay here. Room was big (we are a family of 4) and super clean. Great location- easy walk to everything and very quiet. Breakfast was included and really delicious. Would stay again without hesitation."

"Overall the hotel is fabulous. Spotlessly clean with beautiful furnishings and decor. Wonderful varied breakfast. My only gripe is the pokey shower with a plastic shower curtain in a pokey bathroom. A glass basin at lower belly height just inside the bathroom door for me is a NO NO. Otherwise the room was great.A £20 taxi ride from the station or a 25 minute walk. "

"I really, really enjoyed my stay at Pigalle. At first I thought it was a themed hotel as the style and vibe is so distinct but the more I explored the hotel the more I felt I'd stepped back into 1800s Gothenburg. The design, the interiors and the details are so rich and inviting. The rooms are comfortable with high ceilings, neat little bathrooms with amazing water pressure. The breakfast is fantastic - such a great spread. I especially loved the yoghurt and berries! I sadly didn't get to try...
