"A friend and I stayed in this lovely cottage for a long weekend. It was clean, comfortable, well provisioned, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The owner was very helpful, offering lots of great local recommendations. Highly recommend!"

"Overall a nice place. A little perturbed by all the pest prevention devices throughout the home (didn’t see any mice though so that’s a good thing). Some long white dog hair found throughout as well which was off putting. Despite this the view was nice and the space was great."

"Home was amazing have no complains only that when one bathroom shower is being used the other upstairs would not the water would be cold and warm for only one bath. And the backyard fire pit as listed with pictures was very different. Not like picture other that that we loved our stay very comfortable."

"We arrived to gross bloody tampons and feces diapers spread all over side entrance, when contacting owner they said sorry but did nothing about it, thanks to my husband for cleaning it up. The grounds were nothing like the pictures as the grass was not cut, brush all over and not nice. The inside of the cottage was great, very clean and kept well. Broken toilet seat in the downstairs and if you do rent be sure to bring extra kitchen supplies as we were very limited. 2 garbage bags supplied but...

"An interesting character home - picturesque location on a quiet street near parks, pier and lighthouse. Comfortable beds, nice furniture, large rooms, large yard, lots of space. Overall a great experience"

"Beautiful location, calm, clean home, had all the facilities and best of all, great location. Host was excellent to deal with and answered any queries with respect. Would definitely book again in future. Would recommend to others who are looking for a great cottage. "

Private (secluded, but close to town); quiet (except for the rhythmic, calming sound of the waves); well appointed (elegant yet homey); and well equipped (from the kitchen with all the gadgets to the bedrooms with all the pillows, blankets and even sleeping masks to the pool with floaties and plenty of towels and to the fire pit with chairs and firewood). "Awesome view of the Lake for some beautiful sunrises, but for canoeing, fishing and swimming, not so much. Very difficult to get down from rock wall. There were a few items missing in the kitchen that would have been helpful which has been passed on to the owner. Convenience store is closed so will need to drive further to get items you might need. Cottage was clean but spiders are a concern, but we brought spray as we saw previous post. Short drive to Port Dover for nice little shops and beach...

"Self explanatory. Need to let people know that they need to bring towels soap and be ready to make up their bed when arriving. Then a TV. The unit was nice but required a lot of attention on our part.....for what we paid it was a bit disappointing. "
