"We stayed in the suite, with traditional sitting room and modern bathroom. Really enjoyed the stay in the traditional Korean house. If budget allowed, highly recommend you to stay in the suite. It is as good as the pictures in the website."

"Both Kerly the receptionist and the owner were just amazing! So so nice and helpful people. The rooms were nice and clean, very comfortables. I would deeply recommend this place!!!"

"Lovely place to decompress in serene settings. This 400-year old structure is a pleasure to see and stay in. The 16th generation young man is also a pleasure to speak with. Mr. Ryu was extremely helpful. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. The owner was lovely and very helpful, organizing taxis to take us to see all the sights we wanted to see. He welcomed us on arrival and waved us off as we left. I highly recommend staying at this house for a true Korean experience. "

"여러모로 값진 여행이었어요. 퇴계이황의 15대손이자 이육사 시인의 따님 그리고 손주분과의 소통은 단순히 고택체험 이상의 의미가 있습니다.역사와 지역이야기를 생생히 겪고 갑니다. 와송 등 여러가지 챙겨주시고 감사합니다. 다음에 안동가면 다시 가고자 합니다. 인근에 도산서원이 있어 접근이 좋구요. 야간개장 너무 아름다운데 금방 접근할수 있어 좋았습니다. 바로 앞 낙동강이 흐르는 아름다운 경치와 이육사문화관이 옆에 있어 좋습니다. "

"숙박시설로 외부인이 묵기에는 구조 자체가 너무 불편하게 되어 있어요. 대표적인 예로 화장실과 샤워실이 외부에 하나여서 공동으로 사용해야 될 뿐만아니라 신발을 신고 마당을 지나 구석진 곳으로 들어가야합니다. 만일 비라도 오는 날에 밤에 화장실을 가야할 경우는 어두움을 뚫고 비를 맞으며 우산을 쓰고 다녀와야합니다. 샤워도 물론이수요 그런데 비용은 고택이라는 이유로 고액이니 절대 추천하고 싶지 않은 곳입니다."

"숙소 찾아가는길이 너무 어렵고 힘든길. 안개속에서 산속으로 구비구비 길따라 찾아가는 길을 하시간 넘게,,가족들이 식은땀 흘리며 어렵게 찾아가서, 오는길이 어렵다고하니, 알려준 주소로 내비해야지요한다, 그주소는 안나와요 답변에, naver mail 에서 내비사용해야한다. 참 안내 잘해준다...샤워장은 춥고, 지져분하고, 냄새로인해서 샤워하고픈 생각없고, 여자 화장실, 샤워장은 전등이 고장나서 어둡고 청소상태 불결하고, 숙소 요대기는 돌덩아리에 이불 한개는 한겨울용이라 사용하기 너무 무겁고, 한개는 여름용이라서 너무 얇고..바닥은 딱딱라고 위는 무겁고,,방안은 내키사이즈와 딱맞으니 3식구 잠자기가 어렵워 잠잔건지..설치다 세벽에 철수를 강행한..고택 분위기는 좋으나, 여행객 숙소 불편은 없도록 해야할것 같다. 숙소에서 아침 커피 한잔할수 있는 편의도 없고, 세면도구중 수건,비누만 있으니, 칫솔 안가져 갔으면,,ㅠㅠ. 추석 명절 여행,,너무 별로인것 같다, 추석날 여행해서 그런가... "

"친환경 목조로 지어진 건물 한 동씩 떨어져있어 조용하고 앞이 틔어 있어 전경이 좋은 편입니다. 면적이 넓지 않아 2인 이상 지내기는 어렵지만 기본적으로 필요한 것은 모두 구비되어 있습니다. 근처에 편의시설이 없고 음식 배달이 안되는 지역이니 미리 준비해 가는 게 좋겠습니다."

A little unfortunate incident affected our stay

"Overall it was a nice stay. The hotel has nice amenities in the hotel and we particularly enjoyed the Korean restaurant on B1. The breakfast included package option we took was really good. The staff were friendly enough and professional. The elevator system can be updated as each operates separately and you may end up calling all the elevators to get to the floor you are going, which is a bit annoying and energy inefficient. One thing unpleasant happened during our stay. As my parents opened their door right after checking in and turned on their light, they saw a cockroach running away startled on the floor, which somehow my mom caught with her bag. The housekeeping team was very fast to deal with the issue and cleaned the site when I called them, but this incident left a bit of a bitter taste on our stay. "
