"We had a warm welcome. Our room was on the small side for a twin and there was a huge tv completely in front of the mirror! The bathroom felt recently decorated and was very clean. We had bad neighbours fighting during the night but the staff managed to sort the problem out after an hour.(3-4am!) Paige helped us with a misunderstanding over the swimming pool in the morning and we enjoyed a warm clean swim. The spa man was friendly. Paige gave us another room for our second night which was much quieter and we slept very well. We will return and hope Paige will be there to look after us again. "

Unlike other Grand hotels I have stayed at, The Imperial still maintains the original high standards of the Grand Hotel. Prices are very reasonable in low season with great views across the harbour and easy walking distance to the town centre"
