"We had a nice stay at Balgownie. We were treated to a complementary wine tasting, the grounds were very nice, the breakfast was excellent and the room (admittedly, we chose the “standard” room) was adequate. The gym was untidy, the AC didn’t work in the gym (nor did the Wi-Fi) and it’s a small gym/pool area. It’s a nice location for exploring the area."

"Easy check in, super clean, not that motel smell you usually get, not stuffy. Aircon was welcome. Lots of surface space. Great bathroom. Only rated the staff 4/5 because it was just transactional. Not bad service, just no smile, convo ect. We love great customer service/experiences and this lacked that. "

"All in all we had a good stay there. Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed. Beds were comfy, everything worked and thank god there was enough heating as it was FREEZING COLD down there. It is a bit tricky to find at first off badger rd. I would not like to be arriving at night and having to find the entrance! If there was one thing i would have liked, it...

"Great property. Lovely and clean. Spacious apartment with balcony. Lovely owner whose attention to detail did not go unmissed! We loved the handy location a very short walk to the centre of Healesville. Handy for shops, bars, restaurants, Jayden Ong's Winery and and the brewery as well as the pubs. We parked up and didn’t need the car for our 2 night stay! Four Pillars only a 10 minute walk away. We will be coming back again as we enjoyed it so much."

"What a stunning property! Beautiful heritage building with very large rooms- also with a balcony. Staff were amazing- we sat in the lovely restaurant in the afternoon and asked for an off menu item and they graciously obliged! Breakfast is also great- excellent choice and real coffee! Highly recommend and we will be back"

"The places was very clean. Location to the wineries was great and to the town of Healesville. Very affordable. We felt very safe."
