"L'Hôtel est situé dans le centre de Yaoundé mais à l'écart de la circulation et à l'ombre des arbres dans un cadre très agréable. Restaurant -bar agréable avec terrasse. Chambre en bon état général, climatisation efficace et silencieuse. La salle de bain mériterait d'être refaite en particulier la baignoire mais c'est OK pour prendre une douche, avec une bonne pression d'eau. Propreté OK."

"Two things: 1) When I arrived on the night of the 5th the front desk had no info about my booking and gave a room I did not want because the hotel was almost full! 2) Since I booked online from the US, when I requested my sign out bill they front desk was unable to as I was told that since I booked in the US they couldn’t give me any bill. They were so unprofessional! I literally left in anger !"

"I booked two rooms via hotels.com for Hotel Girafe in Yaoundé for June 25, 2022. I paid in full. On arrival at the property, I was told there was no reservation for me and that the hotel does not have any online booking capabilities. I showed my reservation numbers and emails from hotels.com, yet the hotel claimed that they do not have any online presence. So my question is how come they are listed on hotels.com and yet, say they do not have any online presence and bookings cannot be done...

"The reservation process needs to be reviewed: for a second time this year, I arrived only to find out that they did not have my reservation. Apparently, according to the property, reservations are not transmitted to them in a timely manner. Let’s work on this Expedia, so we can avoid the embarrassment of arriving and being told that they do not have our room!"

"Major problem: dirty (brown!) water flowing in the sink and the shower. When reported to Hotel Management, they only said that “the hotel is not responsible”, that “I should just wait for the water to clear”. This happened 4 days out of my 9-day stay.
