Year round bird activity makes this home appropriately named “The Swallows.” Many call The Swallows “A little piece of heaven”, and it is!

The Swallows is located at the end of a quiet little street on the northwest end of Yachats. The house is just one block from seven miles of sandy beach to the north. To the south is the beginning of the historic 804 Trail which meanders along the coastline with breathtaking views of waves crashing on rocks and scenic sunsets. You can walk the trail all of the way into town which in total is about a half hour walk- one way. Stop off along the trail to the Adobe for a meal in their oceanfront restaurant.

You can see the ocean from the living room and dining room and on a nice day sit out on the deck with a cup of tea, soaking in the rays and listening to the sounds of the pounding ocean. The house is a very comfortable, bright , cheery, well stocked abode that is cozy in all seasons, with warm fluffy blankets and comfortable beds.

On a rainy day, enjoy a walk along the 804 Trail and then come home to snuggle in front of the cozy gas fireplace. Curl up with a book from the bookshelf, or enjoy a puzzle or game provided for your pleasure. If you’re a Duck or Beaver fan, you can even grab a game on the television.

We love dogs and gladly welcome yours, though we do ask that you pick up after them and keep them off the furniture and blankets. Dog towels are provided for you as well. We do have a 2 dog limit.

The beach at The Swallows is dog (and people) heaven – we hope that you enjoy!

Please note: This home is dog friendly with a two dog maximum. A $100.00 fee applies. While we welcome your dogs, we do not allow them to be on furniture or bedding. Please let us know if you have questions about this policy.

The location was awesome . Steps from the beach and coastal trail. Very quiet. Comfortable beds and furniture. Everything you need for a great stay except for a dishwasher, washer and dryer which would have been nice.

We love staying at this place and it’s become our home away from home in Yachats. It’s got everything you need with a small but well equipped kitchen and lovely gas fireplace. Close to the beach.

The Swallows was cozy, comfortable and quaint. Walking path just 2 house's down and easy beach access. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals, nice view while enjoying them. We loved staying here with our baby and dog for three nights. The location is absolutely perfect! We cooked yummy meals in the fully stocked kitchen and listened to the waves from the deck and played lots of board games!

Perfect Home for a Beach Getaway!
Stayed here for 4th of July weekend with our 8 month old baby and doggo. The house was spacious, tv room had black out curtains which was perfect for our baby to sleep in, the view was spectacular and the walk to the beach was a breeze!

Our heaven on earth !!
We have nothing but good to share about this spot. This cottage is super clean, better stocked than is the norm, and a location that can't be beat! Almost hate to put the word out too far as it's a beach gem we'll all be competing for! Property manager was SUPER responsive to any and all inquiries.

Perfect little house in Yachats
A casual, comfortable little house with everything you need, and the special amenity of a great deck with a view of the ocean! Super close to trail to the beach and the 804 trail north/south of Yachats. Quiet lovely neighborhood yet close to Hwy 101 The only suggestions we had: add an overhead light and a fan over the stove top.

Winter Retreat
The house was very comfortable and the access to the 804 trail was wonderful. Unfortunately we could not get down to the beach portion as the steps were gone. Since we were staying for 2 weeks, it would have been nice to have a cupboard shelf to place some of our groceries. There were more dishes, pots and pans than needed. More than enough even if one has visitors.

What a wonderful place. Absolutely love this location. Two minute walk to an amazing beach, the town of Yachats is walking distance of you so desire or a five minute drive. The property is great and perfect for our needs. Amazing gardens and a treat if you love your birds. Will DEFINITELY come back. 😍

Great place to be on the coast
We have stayed here before. It’s so close to the beach that you can hear the waves. We met one neighbor and they were very nice people. There is a yard but not fenced. With the beach so close really doesn’t create an issue. Many other people with dogs so it’s like a great dog park. We really love this place and will return again.

Nothing like a home with brisk sea air!
I had a wonderful time there and enjoyed my daily ritual of walking to the beach and having wine on the deck in the evenings. I live alone so the pace is just right for me - calm....ah. The beds are comfy and the kitchen has all you need. I wish I was back there right now...

Well Equipped and Cozy!
We had a wonderful few days staying at the Swallows and ringing in the new year. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and pantry basics, and we ate most of our meals in. The home is just about a block from beach access and the 804 trail which leads into town and cute shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the entire house was very clean. Nikki, the property manager, was very kind and communicative throughout the entire process. We would recommend the home to anyone wanting a restful and cozy stay in Yachats!
