"We met the owner in Nafplion and he took us to the property. He was very helpful showing us how things worked in the house. He also gave us lots of local information with recommendations of what to visit and where to go for eating out, shopping etc. The house has been beautifully restored and has touches to show its original use. "This is a perfect holiday home for a family group. There was rooms for everyone and plenty of bathrooms. The welcome breeze off the mountains, the owners advice on keeping windows and shutters closed in the day, and the floor fans absolutely did the job of keeping us comfortable in 38C heat. Noisy air con was not needed. We loved the spaces to eat outside, always a shady spot when you needed it. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach at dawn and dusk.
