"Xiao liu qiu is a beautiful island with lovely beaches and views. This hotel is very clean and quietly located some distance away from the harbour area. Accommodation here is excellent! The owners are a lovely couple who came to pick me up at the harbour and also they got their sister/sister-in-law to give me a ride back to the harbour when i left the next day. Highly recommended!"

"Nice boutique hotel located just 2 blocks from the Pingtung train station where one can easily find regular trains to nearby cities. The facility provides breakfast, hot/cold water machine at each floor, and laundry facilities - great convenience for a busy traveler. For those traveling in the summer (we were there in August) - the climate is very hot and humid. "Overall I had a great stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Amenities were provided. There's also a coin laundry available. I arrived few hours before check-in time to put down my luggage. However for some reason I didn't receive the check-in instructions so I couldn't get inside (there's no front desk). Tried calling and sending them whatsapp messages but there was no reply. "Old building renovated with new paints. Very near to Formosa Boulevard mrt station & just next to the Liuhe Night Market. Friendly staff. Spacious room but the emergency exit light right above the door is quite glaring eventhough all the lights in the room are off. Asked for housekeeping but was quite disappointed as they only did half of the job (floor was not sweeped or vacuumed, bed was not made & toilet paper was not topped up)"

"Shanban Bay was a nice place to stay. We experienced no issues during our stay. The staff was friendly and responsive. Rooms were comfortable and well priced (we had standard room). Location was good (island is not large and we rented scooters to get around). We were able to snorkel with the sea turtles very easily and found a local guide to take us on private tour. The water visibility was a bit low due to heavy rains but still acceptable. I recommend Shanban Bay for other travelers...

"老闆娘的服務很熱心，無論景點介紹或代預約浮潛都 不錯。 不過還是要提一下小小的缺點，浴室的浴巾和腳踏墊， 相信是都會送洗，但可能用的較久，都有泛黃，視覺上就比較不好看。 另外也許是環境較沒有過度開發，第一天晚上一回來就 一隻大壁虎在房間內散步，還好小朋友不怕，趕出房間 就好，但還是覺得房間對外的密閉設施需要再注意一下。 最後是房間插座只有一個，廁所卻有二個 ⋯ 然後放雜物的地方很少，只能都放地上 ⋯ 當然上述這些點，看個人在不在意，整體而言還是很推薦 的民宿. "
