Great location, about 7 mins walk from Kaohsiung station. Breakfast buffet spread was good for a 3 star hotel. Only thing is room is a little small and housekeeping staff works too loud and disturbed our rest slightly. Overall it was still a pleasant experience.

The hotel experience was underwhelming to be frank. It was a decent hotel considering the price, however it did not meet expectstions of 9 reviews that are advertised near the entrance. Unfortunately we don’t have the possibility to compare it to other hotels in Kaohsiung. However, we still feel the following is worth noting: the rooms are quite small with no closet space or little space to place your luggage and the carpet in the first room was stained so we switched rooms (and the second was much better). Nonetheless it is a fine hotel that is walking distance to the kaohsiung station. The people were friendly and accomodated us immediately in a different room when we asked.

Book this hotel! The hotel is very close to the Kaohsiung train station and many local restaurants. I had several large pieces of luggage with me, but since the hotel is so close to the train station, it was easy to get to. The staff are very friendly and professional. Our room is clean and the decor looks pretty new. I checked out right on the day when Typhoon Gaemi started, and the staff was so helpful by checking the train schedules and providing rain jackets. It made such a difference for a stressful moment. Thank you, thank you, and thank you! If I ever come back to Kaohsiung, there is no doubt that I will be staying at Airline Inn again.
