"The hotel location was excellent. Everything is walking distance from the hotel - the MTR, great shopping on The Breeze, plenty of convenience stores and coffee shops and to Taipei 101. The only minor downside is the noise at night. Apparently that street is like the hollywood of Taipei. The young people start loitering outside the hotel across the street at a coffee shop called Fake Sober that turns into a club at night. It gets pretty loud and a bunch of young kids that look like they're still...

"Great, affordable hotel for my work at WTO. Short walk to Taipei 101 MRT, Linjiang night market, tons of restaurants. Staff is tops, aim to please. I explain tradeoffs for excellent price: building is very old and prone to mildew smells, but staff work hard to keep clean and ventilated. When this caused problem with my initial room assignment, I was given different room, even upgrade, immediately. Workers note wifi is good not great, about 4-8 mbps dld.
