"Posada James is a beautiful hotel with wonderful owners & staff, within easy walking distance of Las Pozas / the Edward James sculpture garden. The owners went out of their way to make sure I had a good stay, and the staff were friendly and kind (and wonderful cooks!) The view from the porch where food was served was unbelievably beautiful. Would absolutely stay again!"

"The room didn’t look like in the picture it’s not really good room and the bathroom light is on sensor so every 2- 3 minutes it’s gone off "

"The Castillo Magico! It’s like stepping into history. It was a privilege to meet and be hosted by the owner and her wonderful staff. We were lucky to stay in the bedroom of Edward James, very comfortable with stunning mountain views. The owner gave us a tour and explained the history of her grandfather’s house. There is a secret staircase that leads to a bar & restaurant next door, named after her grandfather. Breakfast was delicious, pastries, fruit and a cooked meal to order. The grounds are beautiful too. I’m only sorry we couldn’t stay longer. "

"The hotel is close to the Edward James gardens but not to anything else. The restaurant is fairly limited in its offerings. There were several families there at the time and the noise carried into our room. "
