"We stayed as a family of 4 (kids both 11), in late July / early August, and it was great. The apartment is spacious, (as was the garden and parking etc), and the balconies both front and back were lovely in the morning and evening as a shelter from the hot sun. Our hosts were lovely, and cleaned the place and provided fresh towels every few days. And we had fresh home grown grapes every few days too. Brilliant. "My siblings and I had a pleasant stay at Mitsis Rinela. The rooms were extremely comfortable, clean, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The restaurants had a wide variety of food to choose from, and there was entertainment on every night we were there. Definitely a hotel to stay at during a visit to Heraklion."

"It was one of the best all inclusive experience. We booked a room with private pool looking at the beach, not sure whether I get similar views anywhere around. Staffs were patient especially animation team were fantastic and the way they take care our children as their own. We booked in early April, their water parks were not open till April 5th which was disappointing but they kindly arranged a free visit to nearby waterpark for free. Only advice is book in May/June when the adventure clubs are fully open. "

Royal & Imperial Belvedere Resort - All inclusive

"Just had 5 nights at this hotel (late October) and it was wonderful. Busy enough to feel part of something, quiet enough so that there were no queues at all for food (which was plentiful, varied and delicious) and plenty of space in every area (poolside, restaurants, etc). Room was comfy, pools were lovely (if a little cold), sun loungers were plentiful, staff were great (my daughter and I did sunset yoga every day - bliss) and only a 25 minute taxi ride from Heraklion Airport. Deserves every one of it's 4 stars."

"Lovely hotel, main pool quite busy but the private beach was amazing with great beach bar and chilled music. We avoided the buffet and had incredible food at both the Cretan restaurant for breakfast and dinner and the Italian for dinner. Charming staff, just needs a minor rethink in bathroom as shower was narrow due to placement of soap holder. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend and return "

"The hotel complex was well maintained with clean and clear pathways. The buildings and rooms were modern though showed some signs of wear and tear, but all facilities worked to the level expected. Our room was lovely, actually a suite, with a personal pool which was wonderful. Food options were plentiful and varied at both breakfast and dinner. Staff were all polite and helpful and friendly."
