"Great clean cabin in the woods. We are very familiar with the area we had a cabin 20 minutes away from this one for many years but sold a few years back. This cabin is very peaceful. Was snowing when we arrived it was picture perfect scenery!!!!! Had a campfire outside. Was created with a bottle of wine and warm cabin…. "This was our second time staying at this home, and the first time bringing my young children (11 and 8). We absolutely love the property, the home is stunning and it sits on such a beautiful piece of land. The home was exceptionally clean and my son loved that there was a piano there where he could play his music. The new fire pit is absolutely amazing, we lit fires each night even though it got pretty cold outside. It’s the only home to rent if you want to stay in this part of Sullivan County....

"This property is new and clean. We were happy with the flexibility of the host and the comfort of the home. The only downside, as others have mentioned, was the nasty sulfur smell of the water. It also has a slimy feel. If you can get past that, the place is perfect! Rich is responsive to questions and was flexible with our needs as we were bringing a baby for the holiday weekend. . "

"We arrived at 10:30 to stay overnight as my best friends wedding was the next day only to find behind door #1- a man in his underwear with his dog renting one side of the place… went to door #2 and found the owner of the place staying in there who proceeded to tell us they forgot about us and her phone hadn’t synced up with the app to notify her of our stay (I had messaged them only 5 days before about our stay and had even received a reply) and was told she would need a bit to set the linens...

"The house at 228 Cady, Nichols NY was really a charming stay. It has so many amenities and was decorated for Christmas in a very thoughtful way. We had Thanksgiving Dinner at the big kitchen and loved the special coffee station in the mornings. I recommend this spot for your Holiday retreat. "
