"The staff were great. Had a really good salad. Nice pub and restaurant area But, the room needed a good paint. Shower needs the mould cleaned off to and the worst part was the mattress Thankfully i got an extra duvet to use as a "topper" to try and get a few hours sleep in"

"This is a pub. The rooms are accessed via steep stairs. It is a shared bathroom which is only adequate. The locals in the bar are intimidating unless you like the football crowd type of person. The bar was busy every night with proper drinkers. The smell of cannabis in the outside areas was prevalent. If you like the Tv series ‘shameless’ you would be right at home here. Saying that I would return if I was ever in the area but it’s not for everyone "

"We absolutely loved every single minute of our stay! Our room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, the view was amazing. The bed was one of the best we have slept in. All of the staff and particularly Rosie were just so lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The food was also amazing, and the outdoor gardens just stunning. "Worst experience ever at a hotel. To begin with we were handed the wrong keys for our rooms and given NO keys for entry into the actual building. This absolutely ruined the weekend as we were forced to sleep on the streets. We woke up and returned to the hotel with a cold and was given no apology or explanation just was told the door is now fixed and to turn the handle the other way.
