"The place is amazing, booked on line without really knowing, turned out to be a real find. The owners and manager were there to help and provided a fantastic experience. The pictures cannot show the amazing patio and views when walking into the property nor the relaxed feeling that is immediately felt by the view of the blue water and palm trees off the back patio. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get away. "

"Just wow! My family enjoyed the stay here. We were picked up by our driver who gave us a great experience as well. We were checked in by Dhaggio and he was so helpful and made sure the check in went smooth and didn't take long. He helped us daily to find restaurants to go to since we wanted to experience Barbados outside of the hotel. He organized our drop offs and pickups which was helpful. My visit was for my Birthday and family trip and my husband worked with Whitley to organize my Birthday surprise and it was one of the best surprises by far. The details to my favorite cake, sweet wine, the Birthday cards (also signed by Fabian and the rest of the staff) and the decor was A . Whitley also helped us get the real Barbados experience and made my family and myself feel like family. Thank you South Point Hotel Staff for a great trip and wonderful experience and we will definitely be back. "

"Blue Orchids is the best vacation location in Barbados. The view of the ocean from your balcony is spectacular and you can walk to any and all amenities. Sure the property is a little dated and sometimes things break down BUT the dedication of staff (cleaning, reception, management, reservations and maintenance) is outstanding. They are pleasant and competent."
