"The hotel is in a lovely position overlooking a river and fields with balcony seating, perfect for the time we stayed there as we had lovely sunny weather. The only criticism was that the fan in the bathroom wasn’t working and the hairdryer also stopped working however these have been reported and were being looked into. We paid extra for breakfast which we enjoyed but the coffee wasn’t very nice at all and is served out of metal jugs. A coffee machine would be better which most hotels now use when it is a self-service set up."

"We stayed 2 nights at the Bull Inn as a base for our visit to the nearby area. We slept there and had breakfast but no other meals (we arrived late one evening, were out all day until late the next day and left after breakfast the following day. Service throughout was friendly and polite; the room (one of several in an annex in the garden) was clean, fresh and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The gardens around the pub were beautifully maintained and parking was easy. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we were going to be in the area."
