"If you are someone who wants to walk around a busy village, here may not be the best place for you however many places like alnwick centre are only at 20 minute drive. the rest of the property as immaculate as well as the service we experienced."

"We had a very friendly welcome, and shown to our room, found the room clean and spacious,went for evening meal in the restaurant,staff very attentive,food was delicious and well presented. Went for breakfast and again delicious,staff always had a smile. Overall I would recommend a stay here . Went for cliff walk to the border, beautiful views easy access to motor way to visit other places."

"The check-in was quick, seamless and the lass on reception was friendly, welcoming and helpful, telling us everything we needed and asking if we had any food allergies. The room was clean, no marks, dust, well presented and had all the amenities we required. The bed was clean, comfortable, the bathroom was immaculate and the views of the Farne Islands was incredible. The hotel itself was immaculate, well designed, good decor and the Eggs Royale for the cooked breakfast the next morning, which was included in the price, was delicious, with other breakfast items available, such as juices, tea/coffee (offered when you arrive), cereal, fruit, yoghurts and pastries. The hotel was quiet and in a good location close to the centre of Seahouses on the seafront. Free parking is included, too. I only live in Wallsend near Newcastle so I often visit Seahouses (nearby Bamburgh, Beadnell and Holy Island/Lindisfarne) 4-5 times per-year as it's a favourite of mine, but this was the first time I've ever stayed in Seahouses itself. I'm very happy we chose this hotel and we'd definitely consider coming back."

"This hotel was the perfect midweek getaway for a night to get rid of the January blues. We booked a room in the estate section of the hotel which going by pictures gives you a more modern room and is situated within the extension to the hotel. The room was clean, as was the rest of the hotel. There was everything you would need in the room. I’m told by my partner the provided hairdryer is the best of any she has used at previous stays at other hotels, so bonus points there. I’m not one for Spas but my partner loves them. But even I was impressed. Outdoors there is a choice of two saunas, a heated outdoor pool and a hot tub. There’s also a plunge pool if you’re feeling brave. Indoors you have plenty of relaxation beds and you can also directly access the heated pool via a sliding door. There was plenty of towels during our visit as well as water, herbal tea and dried fruits within the Spa. We stayed on a Monday during January and there was no issues using any of the spa facilities. On a weekend you may have a bit of a wait for some of the outdoor facilities. We had dinner at Charlie’s and the food was good, a little expensive but that’s to be expected. Service was attentive and friendly. After dinner we headed to the 1745 Club/Bar which is where we spent the rest of the evening. It gives a nice cosy, warm vibe which is exactly what we needed on a cold January evening. My only negative would be the lack of a drink on arrival. "
