"Lovely old Victorian property in a fantastic location. Admittedly condition a little tired but that’s part of its charm. We had a very warm welcome and pleasantly surprised when we had our room upgraded to a sea view free of charge. The room and bed were very clean and comfy and it had a nice view towards lynmouth. Very convenient location for the shops, eateries and walks. Not much in the way of car parking, but found it very easy to park in a pay and display nearby, then get a 4 day voucher for £15. Unfortunately no bar or food in the hotel, but you can get a very nice breakfast in the greenhouse restaurant across the street. Plenty of places nearby to eat and drink. Had a very pleasant long weekend, didn’t need to use the car at all. Great value for money stay."

"Overall the property was clean and comfortable, however stairs are quite steep and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We have only two suggestions a) would have been nice to have curtains on the side windows in the bedrooms. Also would be useful if a shower mat could be provided . All in all a very successful visit ."
