"Escaped the crazy, and embraced peace. The Barn is a perfect place to unwind. Clean, spacious, with a well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Located in a quiet cul de sac in a small hamlet miles from the noise; and yet within a short drive to good pubs and country shops. This is an our second Christmas at The Barn. It’s a gem."

"The property is well situated - Plantation Road is a lovely little street with one of the best pubs in Oxford as one of its jewels. This property would be perfect for those wanting to explore Oxford proper. Further, because the two bedrooms are subterranean they would remain cool in the summers in our opinion. "

"Perfect quiet place for two after several days of city sounds. A few great places to eat as long as you have a reservation. Can walk to everything. Good bakery with espresso not too far. The Cotswold Way begins (or ends) here so there are plenty of walkers about... like mentioned earlier make those reservations if it's a busy season."

"The Orchard is a fantastic property. The place is shiny new with top fixtures and a lovely layout that is comfortable but also blends in with the strongly bucolic spirit of the region. We didn't mind the lack of tv as it encouraged us to really venture out and explore the Cotswolds. Church Hanborough is also a lovely village to explore on foot from the property, though you need to drive a few minutes for other services. It's also only 30 minutes from downtown Oxford and 1.5 hours from central...

"Welcoming, cosy yet spacious cottage. Provided everything we needed and was well maintained. Didn't quite realize how isolated it was before arrival so definitely need a car to reach shops and eateries. Not far from local towns and attractions though."

"Beautiful place to stay, loved the decor. Nice and quiet, secluded, without being difficult to get to. Loved the pool too! "

"The cottage location is fantastic, just two minutes from a well-stocked Co-op store, and some lovely cafes and shops to explore. People in Chipping Camden were very friendly and we had some lovely conversations with locals whilst out exploring the lanes around the town.The cottage itself was warm and comfortable (the beds were wonderful), and had everything we needed for a couple of nights stay. Would love to visit again."

"Chris and Liz were amazing hosts and we couldn't have felt more welcome. The accommodations were immaculate and top notch! We cannot wait to come back and visit again and will definitely be booking this stay!"

We were a bit concerned that the stores will be closed and stressing about what to eat over Christmas and Boxing Days. Dawn checked the stores across the street and even purchase milk and bread for us. They are very sweet and communicative throughout. "

"This is an outstanding property for a large group or family gathering. The house is very well equipped and comfortable, especially the bedrooms and bathrooms. The location is ideal for anyone wanting quiet country walks amongst wonderful countryside or as a base for exploring Cotswold villages and nearby towns. Good pubs close by but you must drive a few miles to buy provisions."

"Excellent property very conveniently situated for a pre Christmas walkable visit to Blenheim Palace. Also, less than a five minute walk to Woodstock’s fine pubs and restaurants. The accommodation itself was high spec, peaceful and extremely comfortable for a short stay. I would definitely stay again. "
