"Perfect location for those looking to xx ski and fish. Miles of groomed trails nearby and unlimited back country skiing via the lake and Chippewa National Forest. We loved how quiet the lake was. No human activity other than our group. The dogs had a blast exploring the national forest and its critters. Fishing was fantastic. There's a large sunken bar about 3/4 mile east of the cabin that supported a diverse fish community. The cabin is so spacious with the massive game room attached. So many sleeping options too. Thanks to Sandra and team for the accommodations! Highly recommend this location!!"

"This was resort property of vintage cabins in a fairly remote area, very DIY and not a lot of amenities... which was perfect for us. No restaurants nearby, but the cabins had kitchens, and the lodge had a bar with a small menu of bar food (pizzas, fries, nachos). The couple who staffed the lodge were very friendly and helpful, and the locals we met were very nice! "

"As you get closer to the cabin the forest gets more dense.Look up at the lush canopy that surrounds you.Suddenly it’s quiet and the noise of the outside world is gone.The cabin has a short steep driveway off a quiet dirt road.It feels very private.The large fire pit(great for fire cooking)is surrounded by tall trees & moss covered ground.Bring your phone and go on a mushroom hunt around the property.The bathroom is the fanciest outhouse you will find. It has running water spacious &chandelier lighting.The outdoor shower is an experience that has to be felt not described.Turn off all lights and shower under the stars and moon at night.Inside the cabin the beds are comfortable. Sleep with the windows open so the loons and owls can sing you to sleep. A large fire place and the charm of the rustic decor beckon a romantic evening.The deck off the back of the cabin feels like a tree house nestled in tall towering trees the birds & squirrels are at your finger tips.Throw an air mattress out there and sleep under the stars & trees.The lake is down a path yes you will have to hike it back up.Its your excuse to eat more s’mores.The beach has tubes a large floating mat paddle&row boat kayaks paddle board etc.Fish are abundant! Fish at night off the dock is magical.Also star gazing off the dock.Its lovely here and a great way to refresh and ground your self. "Great location, cabin was very clean and fairly spacious. There's no ac but having windows open and using block fans made it work well. There were tons of bugs around, but that's to be expected. Would definitely come back!"
