"The family room is really simple, 3 stars max (probably 2 is more accurate), but clean, no issues. You will hear water running if you open the windows (It's located creekside). But the owner is fun and welcoming, it's quiet, despite being close to railroad (German trains are really quiet, and there are very few of them). "Maria Suites is a family run small hotel of four suites. The rooms are located above an Italian restaurant, Damiano run by the same family. The restaurant is very good. Mine was a really spacious modern room, with lounge and balconies. I expect they are all the same. Fantastic location near the Dom and Cologne Central train station."
