"It was the perfect place for our family to be together to celebrate and play games in a homey place rather than hotel rooms. The property would have received 5 stars, but the master shower water never got hot, only warmish even after running it for a long time. I was also disappointed that the master bed has two twin mattresses joined, leaving an uncomfortable crack between your partner. "We enjoyed our stay, and the host was very accommodating and pleasant. The place was homey and authentic. The shower/tub on the main floor did not drain well. The host had someone come over and work on it. It helped some, but didn't totally fix the problem. Also, there were no outlets in the upstairs bathroom. We had a lot of people getting ready in the mornings, so this made things a little hectic.All and all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend our host."

"We came to Des Moines for state wrestling. The house is big, was very clean and accommodating. I had one question about the internet while we were there and the owner was very responsive. Check in and out were very easy. They have games, exercise equipment and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We would definitely stay there again!"

"This property is fantastic. It is very updated, with all the amenities you'd hope to have. The location is literally steps away from the Drake University campus and the Drake Diner.
