"What a perfect little getaway to Maine. Donna and Dave are the most welcoming hosts. You will feel at home staying here. They have a comfy bed, kayaks to use, hot tub and a bbq. The lake is beautiful and we got to see our very own sunrise from it. It’s about 45 minutes to Acadia but an easy straight ride and local for all that you need. We will come again. "The Hidden Retreat was the perfect place to stay! It was just me and my husband, and Wendy has made it very comfortable. The area is quiet and relaxing, perfect for after spending a day at Bar Harbor or Acadia National Park. She was a great host and had all the amenities you would need.
