"Great one night stay for our trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia. A bit cold at night esp the floor!!! Small heater in cottage which made it a bit more tolerable. Not sure I would stay more than one night esp in the fall. I’m sure it’s different in the summer. Wonderful owners very friendly and informative. Lovely grounds and quiet at night. "

"5/5 Stars, we would give it 100 stars if we could. Our stay was wonderful! The room was so impressively clean, spacious, and peaceful. Parking was easy. We could order breakfast the night before and it would be delivered in the morning. Cookies and popcorn were offered to guests in the afternoon, as well as a variety of drinks. Staying at Highbrook in was a highlight of our trip. Thanks for a wonderful stay! 10/10 recommend and we can’t wait to come back! "

"Fans and hair dryers were available along with spices, coffee, tea, and numerous kitchen items.So great! But…. We brought them from home unnecessarily. A couple criticisms- The kitchen cookware was poorly maintained, had hit spots and rounded bottoms- difficult to cook with. Cast iron pans would be a great addition! The fridge needs an ice maker. Knives were very dull- all of them. The compactor and light switches should be labeled for easier use. Living room was rearranged by our group...
