"We had a wonderful time. Clean house, stocked kitchen, beautiful lake. Older kids enjoyed staying in the bunkhouse. We went over the 4th of July and lake was not busy. Our family could enjoy tubing (safely) and fishing. Peaceful area. Easy 15-20 minutes drive into Hayward."

"Overall, the location was stellar. We went just this past weekend over MEA and it was so peaceful, quiet (other than boats motoring around), just what we needed. Several things of note: 1. First and most importantly, at least one of the kayaks has a hole in it. We did not realize this, and went out for an early morning fishing trip on the lake that turned into a rescue mission when the person using the kayak could not properly keep afloat and kept slipping into the water repeatedly. "Came to the area for the cranberry festival and to spend time with family in Stone Lake. This cabin was perfect for what we needed for us and our 2 kids. It was the perfect home base for us while we were out visiting the surrounding areas. Would come stay again. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed even though the fishy weren't biting! Well equipped home and beautiful peaceful setting . Only issue was the large amount of flying and dead flies found upstairs in loft. Think area possibly sprayed before arrival but would have been nice if they could have been swept up before arrival. All in all, a perfect weekend!"
