"Very nice quiet cabin located right on a small river. Very close to the trails. It snowed while we were there which is no big deal. Instead of the trails we went to the village and mall to just walk around both were close by and the art museum. So was easy to adjust plans due to the weather."

"This tiny cabin is absolutely gorgeous and situated in a peaceful little patch of forest, the lack of a shower and loft makes this a spot better suited to people able to climb and navigate tight spaces but this place gave me one of the best nights sleep I’ve had in years!"

"Looked for somewhere close to SUNY Plattsburgh to come in to visit our student at college, mainly to bring her dogs to see her, took a chance on the Blueberry Cottage and wasn’t disappointed. The location on the lake was beautiful. Was a little chilly when we went so we couldn’t really enjoy the beach or firepit, but I bet in the summer it would be amazing. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was comfortable, secluded, peaceful, charming and nice and simple. Totally chilled out and relaxed in the pleasant and beautiful lakeside retreat. Did some kayaking and swimming...Had a bonfire.. Did some site seeing...Don't miss Ausable Chasm and Texas Red Hots (2miles north). The owners, were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Grounds were clean. Brought our dog, Zoey and she enjoyed it too. The getaway we needed. Thank you"

"A very comfortable cabin. Excellent base for Adirondack hiking and exploring. Multiple kayaks and a canoe are available for lake paddles. Kayak entry from water easier than from dock. Very well equipped kitchen and a Weber charcoal grill. We brought guide books and maps. Being unconnected from internet or cell coverage was OK but Wifi would have been useful to compare hiking routes or local restaurants etc in more detail. "This place was located very close to Plattsburgh where my friend and I went antique shopping and thrifting. Then we visiter Burlington which is vlose by via ferry. The cottage was quaint, charming and near the water. The place ws very clean and had plenty of room. The the kitchen had everything we need and a large dinning table. The porch also was a great feature as well. We really enjoyed oir stay and i am so glad I found this place online."

"The house is rustic but well-appointed. Very beutiful lake view and easy into to Burlington and over to Plattsburgh. We took the house for our daughters graduation and we wanted a place to host a cookout for her friends. Badmitten and kayaking. Worked out great. Only nit is that you are encouraged not to drink the water out of the tap so bringing bottled water is a part of the deal."
