"The cottage was in a lovely quiet location. It was very cosy. You felt right at home as soon as you walked through the door. Everything was very clean and tidy and well presented. "The property is just as described, with everything you might want deftly included in a small and chic space. Really handy for town - as long as you don't mind a hill! - and for the river. "From the moment we stepped into the gorgeous flat we knew we made the right decision. Location is amazing and literally 50 bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The flat is decorate to a very high degree and we will definitely be back. Quiet location after pubs close at 10pm or 11pm"

"Lovely property in a peaceful location with fantastic views over the reservoir and up the valley. Perfect for our stay and with a secure store for bikes. Some fantastic rides up on the moors. Excellent and friendly host. Only downside was all local pubs don’t open on Monday or Tuesday so take food or be prepared to drive to Pateley Bridge."

"The property hadn’t been cleaned since the previous tenant. Had to find own alternative for the first night, and property not ready until 5.15 on second night. I don’t know who is responsible for scheduling cleaning, but this was a terrible start to what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Firs, it was perfect for the two of us. The warm welcome and explanation of the apartment was amazing and the cleanliness and amazingly comfortable bed were perfect after a long flight. Although our visit was mostly consumed visiting new grand children we were pleased by the short proximity to Ilkley restaurants and pubs and all the hiking and biking we didn't partake in but would be ideal for other guests. We'll be back!"
