"Very cute and affordable place to stay, we were there to visit the Renaissance Faire for the weekend. The renovated shower was great, and the sheets & blankets were the softest of any hotel I've ever stayed in. Will definitely stay here again if we go back to the area."

"This motel is on the main road (US-60 or Ash Street) but was quiet during the holiday period. It is ideally situated near Hill Street, which goes into the historic district less than a mile away. Fast food is nearby, as is hiking at Round Mountain Park. El Rey is a self-described "vintage motor court" so looks the part outside. But the interior room was large enough, the bed mostly comfortable, the spacious shower always had hot water, and the wall heater worked well, with the usual humming....

"This was my first time in AZ and I couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay. With only being an hour away from Tucson its surprising but the night sky was breathtaking, the community was friendly and walking up the street to the little neighborhood park for a morning walk gave to some amazing sunrise views.
